The Lassen Land & Trails Trust 2012 Farmer’s Market season is in full swing, held each Saturday, thru the month of September, at the Historic Susanville Railroad Depot, beginning at 8am. For more information contact David Sowers, Market Manager, at 257-3252.
Joan’s Studio of Dance will be holding a dance class registration day, on Wednesday, August 29, 2012, from 2pm to 5pm in the dance studio, located at 110 S. Gay Street, Susanville. Fall Classes start September 4th; call 257-3197 for more information.
Be sure that the Chamber’s information center has an adequate supply of your business cards and brochures on hand to promote your business throughout the year. This is a free marketing service that is available to all Chamber members.
The Chamber board and staff are working hard to promote, increase, and support area businesses, enhance our community, create and sponsor community events, and promote Lassen County. We invite you to join us by serving on a committee or volunteering for one of our many activities held throughout the year. Call the Chamber at 257-4323 if you would like to volunteer.
Mark your calendar and plan to attend the August Chamber Mixer that will be held on Thursday, August 23rd, 5:30 to 7:30pm. Sierra Jewelry Company and Edwards Jones Investments/Carla Parsons have teamed up to co-host their first ever mixer and invite everyone to join in the fun evening planned. The mixer will be held in historic uptown Susanville on North Gay Street between the two businesses which will be blocked off to hold the mixer. Sierra Jewelry Company and Edward Jones Investments/Carla Parsons invite the community to stop by to mingle with friends and business associates. You do not need to be a Chamber member to attend everyone is welcomed to join in the fun. We hope to see you there!
