Northern California Cancer Advocates, a non-profit organization serving Lassen and Plumas counties, whose mission is to provide financial assistance to individuals in our community that are battling cancer, will be holding their annual fundraising events at the Diamond Mountain Golf Course September 1st.
The NCCA was established in March of 2013 and since that time has held a continuous string of successful fundraisers to directly benefit Lassen and Plumas County cancer fighters.
According to the group, NCCA has been able to provide support to 125 community members totaling over $82,000.
6th Annual ‘Swing for Cancer’ Golf tournament
NCCA is looking for businesses or individuals who would like to sponsor a hole at the tournament which attracts hundreds of golfers each year.
For a $100 donation your message will be displayed around the golf course on the day of the event. Click here to download a registration flyer with more information about hole sponsorship.
The tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 10:00. Foursomes will play a scramble format with awards for team score and individuals.
Tournament entry is $100 per person which includes greens fees, cart, lunch and tee prize. Chorizo sandwiches will be served at the turn.

6th Annual 5K Run or Walk for Cancer
Take a run or walk around the beautiful Diamond Mountain Golf Course for a good cause.
Check in starts at 7:30a.m., and the race begins at 8:00.
The cost to enter is $40 per person and there will be prizes for various age groups.
