Amanda Shepard, owner of Salon 705 in Susanville, has been selected as a 2018 winner in The Knot Best of Weddings, an award representing the highest-rated wedding professionals as reviewed by real couples, their families and wedding guests on TheKnot.com.
According to the organization, only 3% of the approximately 300,000 local wedding professionals listed on TheKnot.com have received this distinguished accolade.
To determine the winners, The Knot assessed almost 3.6 million reviews across the various vendor categories—venues, musicians, florists, photographers, caterers and more.
These winners, explains TheKnot website, represent the best of the best wedding professionals that a bride or groom would want to consider booking for their own unique wedding.
“I am incredibly honored and humbled to have won the Best of Weddings for 2018. I have had the most wonderful bridal clients and I owe it all to them,” said Salon 705 owner, Amanda Shepard.
Salon 705 is an appointment only, private boutique salon in Susanville owned and operated by Amanda Shepard who was born and raised in Susanville. She received her Cosmetology License in 2013 at age 18, and then worked for 10 months as an assistant at Artistry Salon in Dana Point, California.
Amanda returned to Susanville in 2014 and started her hairstyling career at The Look Salon. After having her son, Amanda was ready to pursue the next step in her career. Salon 705 was opened in October 2016 as one of the few licensed home salons in the state.
