Offices of the Bureau of Land Management and Lassen National Forest will be closed Wednesday, December 5th, as part of a National Day of Mourning honoring former President George H. W. Bush.
The offices will reopen for regular business hours Thursday, December 6th.
“We advise anyone planning to purchase permits for Christmas trees or firewood on Wednesday, to please plan accordingly,” suggested Chris Schow, acting forest supervisor for the Lassen National Forest.
