Become a blood hero by donating to the Lassen College Blood Drive December 4th
Every three seconds, someone in the United States needs blood and more donors are needed daily for trauma, surgery and cancer patients in our community. The blood you donate today can help save up to two lives. Since blood can’t be manufactured, we rely completely on volunteer blood donors.
There is currently a critical need for Type AB Plasma to support the needs of patients. Type AB is the universal donor for plasma, just as O-negative is for red cells. They’re both rare, and vitally important.
Plasma provides clotting factors that help control bleeding for surgery and trauma patients, organ transplant recipients and premature babies.
The blood drive will be held in the Lassen College cafeteria Wednesday, December 4th, from 10:00a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Donors will receive a $10 Amazon egiftcard through the online hero program.
To book an appointment, call the blood donor desk toll free at 866-985-0598 or go online to www.BloodHero.com and use sponsor code: lassen
