Banner Lassen Medical Center and the Banner Lassen Medical Center Foundation Board invite the public to a low-cost family fun and fitness event at the Lassen County Fairgrounds, 195 Russell Avenue, on August 26th from 11:00a.m. to 3:00p.m.

Grab your Fitbit, get off your bottom, and come on down and boogie with Banner! The purpose of this event is to get parents and their children out of the house and moving.

The American Heart Association recommends 10,000 steps a day and what better way than to come see all of the events we have planned.

Activities include bounce houses, face painting, Pirate mania and princess booth, Frisbee golf, and soccer tricks by our local Lassen College Soccer Team. In addition, there will be a giant waterslide so don’t forget your swimsuits.

Representatives from the Lassen County Health Department will be on hand with Dandy the Smokeless Dragon along with Jeremy Germ and his Germ Lair, with story and coloring books.

Informational booths will be participating from various agencies in Lassen County. Emergency services will display emergency vehicles and provide valuable safety information.

The Family Fun Olympics is free to enter, and a low-cost concession stand will serve hamburgers, hot dogs and more. The day is designed for children up to 14 years of age and their parents or other adult companions.

Volunteers from Banner Lassen Medical Center Foundation Board and employees in partnership with local community members will be on hand to help everyone enjoy their day of fun.
