Assemblywoman Dahle Outlines Process for COVID Vaccination in Lassen County

After her offices received a multitude of questions from constituents regarding the COVID vaccine, 1st District Assemblywoman Megan Dahle issued a statement Friday detailing the specific process for Lassen County residents to get vaccinated.

“Each county has a slightly different process,” explains Dahle. “Residents of Lassen County who wish to make an appointment to receive a COVID vaccination should visit Lassencares.org and submit their information to the online vaccination appointment request form, or call 249-8628.

To request a COVID-19 vaccination appointment on lassencares.org, submit your phone number, birth month and year and occupation in the message box.

“Please note, you will not get a confirmation email. You will be placed on a waiting list based on vaccine availability and State designated priority eligibility. Public Health will call you as soon as they can schedule your appointment.”

You may also check with your own healthcare provider to check vaccine scheduling availability. Be sure to schedule both doses with the same healthcare facility.

“Stay well and remember we are all in this together,” said Dahle.
