Lassen County Animal Shelter – Yogi

Yogi is one handsome fella!

As a recent surrender to the Lassen County Animal Shelter, Yogi is settling into the shelter as well as he can. He loves stuffed toys, treats, and he smiles once he builds trust with a person. Yogi can be timid at first and it will take a patient individual to bring him out of his shell, but the time spent is worth it. This guy gets great joy out of simply being at someone’s side.

Yogi would like a home without small children; preferably an adult only household. He’s a year and a half old, neutered, current on his rabies vaccination, and heartworm tested negative. Any questions and inquiries can be answered by shelter staff by calling, 257-9200. Or come on down to visit with Yogi and give him plenty of his favorite treats.

Featured animals at the Lassen County Animal Shelter are available for adoption on a first-come first-serve basis. According to California law, all adoptable dogs and cats must be spayed and neutered before leaving our facility. If interested in adopting an animal, please contact the shelter directly.

Current shelter hours during the COVID-19 pandemic are Monday through Friday, 9:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Closed Saturday and Sunday. You can contact the shelter at 257-9200.
