Adopt A Pet Today from the Lassen County Animal Shelter – JJ

Lassen County Animal Shelter – JJ

JJ was left in the outdoor kennels after hours and has been slowly settling into the shelter life.

This pretty feline is reserved and prefers to watch and observe over actively seeking out affection from people. She’s now looking for a quiet home to call her own; one without too much hustle and bustle. The ideal person for JJ will need to be incredibly patient and willing to take the time to help her come out of her shell and build confidence.

JJ is spayed, leukemia tested negative, and up to date on her rabies vaccination. For more information regarding JJ, please give shelter staff a call at 257-9200.

Featured animals at the Lassen County Animal Shelter are available for adoption on a first-come first-serve basis. According to California law, all adoptable dogs and cats must be spayed and neutered before leaving our facility. If interested in adopting an animal, please contact the shelter directly.

Current shelter hours during the COVID-19 pandemic are Monday through Friday, 9:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Closed Saturday and Sunday. You can contact the shelter at 257-9200.
