Adopt A Pet Today from the Lassen County Animal Shelter – JJ

Lassen County Animal Shelter – JJ

JJ is our featured Pet of the Week again, but this time around she’s more comfortable and ready to show off just how pretty she is. Isn’t she lovely?

The past two weeks since she was first featured have been full of growth and confidence building. Staff have gotten to know her better and it’s become obvious that she is one feisty girl. JJ has spunk, plenty of personality, and wonderfully expressive body language. Potential adopters should be cat savvy because JJ is a lot of cat all bundled up in a single package. She will be extremely high energy once she settles into her new home, which means she will benefit from plenty of play time. Shelter staff feels JJ would do best in a home with children 15+.

JJ is spayed, leukemia tested negative, and up to date on her vaccinations. Questions and inquiries can be answered by staff by calling the Lassen County Animal Shelter at 257-9200.

Notice: The shelter will be closed on January 1st in observance of New Year’s Day and will re-open Monday the 4th for regular business hours.

Featured animals at the Lassen County Animal Shelter are available for adoption on a first-come first-serve basis. According to California law, all adoptable dogs and cats must be spayed and neutered before leaving our facility. If interested in adopting an animal, please contact the shelter directly.

Current shelter hours during the COVID-19 pandemic are Monday through Friday, 9:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Closed Saturday and Sunday. You can contact the shelter at 257-9200.
