Adopt A Pet Today from the Lassen County Animal Shelter – Gizmo

UPDATE: Gizmo has been transferred to the Pups on Parole program.

Lassen County Animal Shelter – Gizmo

Are you an active person looking for a hiking buddy? Gizmo may be the sidekick you need.

Gizmo is a year old lab/shepherd mix. He can be uncertain of new faces and will be vocal about it with a deep bark, but don’t let that fool you. Toss him some treats and offer up some fun playtime outside and Gizmo will show you how to have a good time outdoors. This sweet boy LOVES rope toys and playing with doggie friends. He also seems curious about water, so perhaps his new forever family can introduce him to the wonders of swimming.

Gizmo is scheduled to be neutered Monday, 4/46. Additionally, he will be heartworm tested and receive his rabies vaccination. If interested in learning more about Gizmo or other adoptable animals at the Lassen County Animal shelter, please call 257-9200.

Featured animals at the Lassen County Animal Shelter are available for adoption on a first-come-first-serve basis. According to California law, all adoptable dogs and cats must be spayed and neutered before leaving our facility. If interested in adopting an animal, please contact the shelter directly.

Current shelter hours during the COVID-19 pandemic are Monday through Friday, 9:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Closed Saturday and Sunday. You can contact the shelter at 257-9200.
