Adopt A Pet Today from the Lassen County Animal Shelter

Update: Rocky has been transferred to the Pups on Parole program!

Rocky has been with us for over a month, help us find him a forever home.

Rocky was surrendered to the shelter after his owner passed away and the next of kin could not care for him. He’s a neutered brown brindle and white pit bull terrier mix estimated to be 8+ years of age. This guy is all smiles, has plenty of spunk, doesn’t seem to mind our resident cat, and would love to be a new addition to your family.

For additional information, please contact the Lassen County Animal Shelter at 257- 9200.

Featured animals at the Lassen County Animal Shelter are available for adoption on a first-come first-serve basis. According to California law, all adoptable dogs and cats must be spayed and neutered before leaving our facility. If interested in adopting an animal, please contact the shelter directly.

Current shelter hours during the COVID-19 pandemic are Monday through Friday, 9:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Closed Saturday and Sunday. You can contact the shelter at 257-9200.
