William S. (Rosey) Rosencrantz
William S. Rosencrantz, Rosey was born on February 20, 1925, and passed away December 17, 2017, in Reno, Nevada. He grew up in Idaho with 3 sisters and after service in the Navy during WWII, began working at Sierra Army Depot, Herlong, CA in 194 7. While working at the Depot, he completed his education and received his certification for electric maintenance from the General Electric Company.

Rosey was always known in the Herlong Community as the go-to-guy for any electrical needs or projects. He was always willing to lend a helping hand with a can-do attitude.

Rasey was preceded in death by his wife Melba (Mickey) Rosencrantz and his son Terry Rosencrantz.

Survivors include his daughter Vivian Peterson, daughter-in-law Colleen Rosencrantz, 3 granddaughters, 2 grandsons, 1 great granddaughter and 1 great grandson. We have all been very
lucky to have had Dad/Grandpa for as long as we did and to have benefited from his help over the years.

Funeral services will be held on February 17, 2018, at Diamond Crest Cemetery at 1:00 PM. A celebration of life will be held afterward in Reno, NV. Information as to the location will be provided at the graveside service.

Why Pre-plan?

Thinking about your own funeral leaves most people feeling a little uneasy, but more adults are finding that pre-planning a funeral offers great emotional and even financial security for them and their families. With pre-planning, families find comfort in knowing that the funeral reflects what their loved one wanted. It also gives them peace of mind to not have to make important decisions at a stressful time. Click here to visit Walton’s Funeral Home
