Updated 2:07p.m. Firefighters quickly knocked down the vegetation fire. Motorists are still advised to avoid the area around Riverside Drive and Fairfield while crews clean up. Riverside Drive itself is currently closed from River Street to Limoniera Street.

2:00p.m. Fire fighters are responding to a reported small vegetation fire burning near old SPI mill site along Riverside Drive. The fire is burning next to the road and the Susan River.
