Susanville Swing Band Performing Two Concerts This Weekend!

Susanville’s own boogie woogie, beboppin’, jump jive dancin’ big band is back for two big shows this weekend! The Susanville Symphony’s swing band returns to the stage at the Veterans Memorial Hall this Friday and Saturday nights, bringing another great line up of musical favorites from the last 50 years.

Always a great show, the Susanville Swing Band performances are the only place you can find live swing music and dancing in Lassen County.

“The Swing Band will be playing everything from Tuxedo Junction to Feeling Good to Sing Sing Sing,” says Symphony Artistic Director Benjamin Wade.

“There will be two dance floors – one for the bold and one for the shy – and choreographed dancing from J&J Performing Arts to a few of the numbers like the Pink Panther.”

Join big brass, big swing, big saxes and more this weekend at the Veterans Memorial Building across from the high school, starting at 7:00p.m.

Tickets are available now at Margie’s Book Nook and Axia Home Loans.  Don’t miss the fun!

For ticket information call the Symphony hotline at 530-310-8111 or logon to www.susanvillesymphony.com to find out more.
