Lassen Varsity Softball to host playoff game

Lassen Softball is 3rd in playoff ranking and will host Corning in the first round of playoffs.

Playoff game will be held at the Lassen College Sports Complex on Tuesday May 15 at 4:00pm.

Lassen Baseball wins first round of playoffs

Lassen varsity baseball team beats Central Valley 10-0 in the first round of playoffs.

Winning pitcher Kyle Winn went all 5 innings giving up only one hit to shut out the CV Falcons. This is an incredible feat for a young man who tragically lost his father just a week ago.

The Lassen Bats were on fire. Daniel Perry had a double, Jared Bertotti with 2 base hits and 2 RBI’s, Steven White with a base hit  and 2 RBI’s, Nate Freeman with 2 base hits,  Colby Chavez, Jarrell Cunningham and Kyle Winn each with a base hit and an RBI, and Joey Beck with a base hit.

Lassen will take on the Winner of the Yreka vs Orland game that was played today. The second round of the playoffs will be Tuesday May 15.
