Raymond C Byers Jr.
Raymond C Byers Jr. passed away on January 21, 2018. He was born September 12, 1936, in Chanute, Kansas, and after his time in the military, he moved to the Los Angeles area and married wife, Nora. They moved to Lassen County in the early 80’s, built their home in Janesville, and ran a successful business until retiring in 1998. During their retirement, Ray and his wife spent their time traveling and spending winters at Lake Havasu. Ray enjoyed fishing, golfing, and devoting time to his friends and family.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, his daughters Karen Herrera, Kelly Byers, and Reka Mejia, 4 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandson.
