Race Across America in the Midwest

Our coast to coast coverage of the 2011 Race Across America Continues on the 3,000 mile trek from Oceanside, California to Annapolis Maryland.

After crossing the Rockies at Wolf Creek Pass Rick, Anna and the JDRF IGA Team are racing through the midwest, still on schedule for a six day record in the event. Team JDRF IGA passed the halfway point at 12:35 Tuesday afternoon.

Thanks to crew member and WebXtra correspondent Jim Chapman who is keeping us all up to date around the clock. For pictures, video, interviews and more follow this link for expanded Race Across America coverage.

Morning dawns over Kansas as the cyclists trade the southern Rocky Mountains for the flatlands of the midwest.

Just west of Witchita, Kansas Team JDRF IGA reaches the official half way mark of 1,525 miles.
