The nice folks from the Susanville branch of Plumas Bank presented Lassen Senior Services with a big contribution today, a $1,000 donation to help provide programs and services for Lassen County’s senior citizens. Branch Manager Maria Nye presented the check to the senior service organization’s Executive Director Penny Artz at the bank this morning.
Lassen Senior Services, whose mission is to help local seniors to be more productive and live independently, offers a variety of services, information and activities in which they can participate. Services for seniors include daily lunches, Meals on Wheels, transportation, fitness programs and even computer training.
Plumas Bank’s donation will go a long way towards enriching the lives of senior citizens in the community.
