Banner Lassen Medical Center and the Banner Lassen Medical Center Foundation held their yearly Family Fun Olympics on Saturday, giving families a chance to enjoy fun games and activities at the Lassen County Fairgrounds.
The low-cost family fun and fitness event featured everything from professional jump rope and hula hoop lessons to face painting, tug of war and nine-hole Frisbee golf.
“Part of the obstacle to achieving wellness is getting enough physical activity,” said Banner Lassen Medical Center CEO Catherine Harshbarger. “Family Fun Olympics gives the community a chance to overcome that obstacle together with fun activities.”
Volunteers from the hospital’s Foundation Board, local community members and Banner Lassen Medical Center employees helped make the day special for the visiting families.
