The Magical Country Christmas Celebration Saturday evening was blessed by warmer temperatures than in recent memory and Susanville families took advantage of the nice weather to spend time at the big party enjoying live entertainment, the Parade of Lights and of course the arrival of Santa Claus!
The new 40-foot tree constructed at the top of Main Street by the Lassen County Chamber of Commerce was the perfect centerpiece for the event. Santa threw the switch in front of the Elk’s lodge and lit the tree, which was followed by a very nice fireworks display.
