Painted Trout and Native Wildlife Featured at This Week’s Eagle Lake Nature Programs

Junior Rangers July 27 Love rainbow trout? Like to paint? Join California Fish and Wildlife’s Virginia Evans for a fun activity at the Merrill Campground Amphitheater at 10:00 a.m. All are welcome.

Nature at Night presents “Eagle Lake Animals” Saturday, July 29 at 7:30 p.m. at the Merrill Campground Amphitheater with California Fish and Wildlife animal expert, Brian Ehler. Learn about the similarities between Eagle Lake and Antarctica and other extreme environments. County Road A1, Eagle Lake, South Shore. (in the event of rain, event will be postponed or canceled)

9/2 The Eagle Lake Story, Bob Woods

Junior Rangers—All are welcome. Please accompany and stay with younger children.
Thursdays 10:00 a.m. at the Merrill Amphitheater.

8/3 Playing it Safe, Lassen County Sherriff Boat Patrol and CalFire

Bird Walks

Saturdays 8/5 with Dr. Lew Oring (meet at the marina parking lot by the jetty)

Everyone is welcome to attend the Eagle Lake Nature programs—it’s a great event for families, campers, locals, scouts, and all who appreciate Eagle Lake.  All programs are free.
