Our Future is Key: Lassen Prevention Collaborative Holding Poster Contest

The Lassen County Prevention Collaborative is inviting students in Lassen County to participate in their 2017-18 poster contest. The winning posters will be printed and displayed in schools, businesses, public agencies, on the web and a variety of other locations throughout 2018.

The contest is open to all Preschool to 12th grade students in Lassen County.

The poster must be no larger than 8 1/2 inches across the top and 11 inches tall on the side. Students may use only colored markers, colored pencils, pens, or created original computer art.

The theme of the contest is ā€œOur Future is Key!ā€ and the winning poster will represent that theme.

The deadline for poster entriesĀ to be turned in to the Lassen County Office of Education is October 27th, by 4:30p.m. at 472-013 Johnstonville Road or by email to [email protected]. Entries must include student name, teacherā€™s name, grade and the name of the school on the back.

Posters will be judged by various members of the community in the following categories: Preschool-TK, K-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12 grades.

There will be a first place prize of a $50 gift card and all participants will receive a special gift.
