Carol May Hodgson passed away unexpectedly on January 22nd, 2013 at 70 years of age.
Carol was born in June 1942 in Susanville, California and moved to the valley as a young girl and graduated from Corning High in 1960. Carol returned to Susanville with her family in 1974 where she worked as a bookkeeper for the City of Susanville for more than 10 years and then more recently for Haws, Theobald & Auman until she retired in early 2011.
Carol is survived by her husband Glenn Hodgson; her two children, Rob Hodgson and Rachel (Hodgson) Bell; four grandchildren (Zachariah, Grace, Brianna and Nathan); and four siblings: Sharon (Jackson) Price, Steven Jackson, Albert Jackson and Mary Lee (Jackson) Sherwood.
Carol loved to play with her grandchildren, make crafts, and was an active member of her sorority chapter, Laureate Theta Psi.
A memorial service and reception will be held at Assembly of God Church in Susanville on January 26th at 2:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Laureate Theta Psi Scholarship fund at Lassen County Credit Union “in memory of Carol Hodgson”.
