Heavy snow continues to fall in Susanville and the Honey Lake Valley at this hour. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory in effect until 4:00a.m. Monday.
Forecasters say snow will continue to spread across the area overnight and persist through Monday morning.
Snow accumulations of 2 to 6 inches are expected west of Highway 395, with 1 to 3 inches along and east of Highway 395.
Winds will accompany the storm, gusting up to 35 mph.
Snow and gusty winds are producing travel slow downs, chain controls, and periods of low visibility in blowing snow.
