Lassen Park Celebrates Centennial with Free Admission Through August 28th

The National Park Service turns 100 years old this week and Lassen Volcanic National Park is celebrating with free admission to the park! 2016 is not only a special anniversary for the National Park Service, it is also the centennial year for Lassen Volcanic National Park.

Visitors to the park on between now and Sunday, August 28th will not be charged an entrance fee and may simply enter the park and enjoy their local national park.

Opportunities to explore unique volcanic landscapes, enjoy scenic vistas, hike in pristine wilderness and discover a diversity of plants and wildlife that make the park their home are just some of the experiences that await visitors.
