This Saturday, January 20th, the Lassen High Boys basketball teams are hosting a big fundraiser at the school featuring an alumni game and High Desert State Prison against California Correctional Center in the Battle of the Badge. All proceeds will benefit Lassen Boys Basketball Boosters.
The Purple Passion, Gold Fever alumni game has a tip off time at 5:15 with more than 20 alumni from the classes of 1986 through 2017 ready to fight for bragging rights.
Last year the Gold Fever team won in the last seconds with a buzzer beater made by Mitch Murphy. Booster president Leo Bennett said it will be a great, hard fought game.
At 7:00p.m. watch the High Desert State Prison Dawgs take on the California Correctional Center Coyotes.
There will also be performances by House of Dance and J&J Performing Arts during halftimes.
The cost is $5.00 and a full snack bar will be available including Larry Memmott’s famous pulled pork and many other snacks available to purchase.
