The Rails to Trails Festival has grown over the years to become one of Lassen County’s largest community events. The Lassen County Chamber and Lassen Land and Trails Trust will co-host the Festival that will be held on Saturday, October 10, from 10am to 4:00 pm, in conjunction with the Bizz Johnson Marathon. The event will feature a chili cook-off, vendor and artisan marketplace, and handcart races. Applications to participate in this year’s festival are available by logging on to www.lassencountychamber.org and clicking on the Rails to Trails icon or contact the Chamber at 257-4323 for more information.
The LLTT 2015 Farmer’s Market season is in full swing held each Saturday, thru the month of September, beginning at 8am, at the Historic Susanville Railroad Depot. Call LLTT at 257-3252 if you would like to participate or for more information.
