The Chamber will welcome new area business, Aaron’s Sales and Lease, with a Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting that will be held on Friday, May 29th, at 12 noon, in conjunction with their Customer Appreciation Days. The community is invited to stop in on Friday, May 29th and Saturday, May 30th, 11am to 4pm, to enjoy popcorn, face painting, pizza, and to meet “Lucky Dog”, the store mascot, who will be on hand to meet and greet with customers. Please be sure to stop in and say ‘hi’ and join us in welcoming this new business to our community.
Start shining up your classic car and mark your calendar for the annual Main Street Cruise Classic Car Show n’ Shine that will be held on Saturday, June 27th, from 2 to 6pm, in Historic Uptown Susanville. Street vendor and car show applications are available at lassencountychamber.org or call the office, 257-4323, to have information forwarded to you.
Chamber members should be sure that the Chamber’s visitor lobby has an adequate supply of your business cards and brochures on hand to promote your business throughout the year. This is a free marketing service that is available to all Chamber members.
The Chamber board selected Damon Shea, C& S Waste Solutions General Manager, as the newest member of the board of directors. Please join us in welcoming him aboard; he will officially begin his term in June.
