The Chamber board elected Lance Monath, of Monath Construction Inc., as the newest member of the board of directors. Lance will be filling the term that was left vacant after board member Susan Ward moved out of the area. He will begin his term at the February board meeting. Please join us in welcoming him aboard.
“A Taste of Beef, A Sip of Wine” tickets are for sale at the Chamber office or the Pardner Farm Supply. The annual fundraising event, hosted by the Lassen County Cattlemen and Cattlewomen, will be held on Friday, February 6th, from 6pm to 9pm, at the Susanville Elks Lodge.
The Chamber has a limited quantity of 2015 Labor Law posters available for sale that feature all federal and state regulations on one poster. Businesses are required to post updated employment posters at each place of business. Stop by the Chamber office, located at 75 North Weatherlow Street, to purchase a copy for your business.
Mark your calendar to attend the Lassen County Chamber of Commerce’s 127th Annual Chamber Membership Dinner & Awards Night, planned for Friday, February 27, 2015 beginning at 6pm, at Lassen Steaks. The Chamber board is seeking nominations for “Chamber Member of the Year”, “Chamber Business of the Year”, and “Volunteer of the Year”. Please submit your nomination to the Chamber office by February 9, 2015.
