Patti Hagata, Executive Director

Has your business been affected by the drought? Decreased hours, lack of typical seasonal work, or layoffs due to lack of work available? Alliance for Workforce Development would like you to let them know so they can gain insight on how you are affected. California is in a state of emergency due to the drought and is seeking local information in order to obtain funding to assist communities that are impacted by the dry conditions.  Contact Terri Haynes at 257-5057.

The LLTT 2014 Farmer’s Market season is in full swing held each Saturday, thru the month of September, beginning at 8am, at the Historic Susanville Railroad Depot. Contact Lassen Land and Trail Trust, at 257-3252, if you would like to participate or for more information.

If your business or organization has a special event planned for 2014 please let us know so that we can add the event information to the calendar. This is a free service provided to the entire community. For a complete list of events planned in Lassen County log on to www.lassencountychamber.org  and click on event calendar.

Many required certified training courses are available online through Calchamber.  The Lassen County Chamber is able to offer these courses to our members at a discount.  The webinars and online training courses cover a wide range of subject matter such as harassment prevention, accounting, ethics, management principles, customer service and leadership training. For more information about how your business can take advantage of this valuable membership benefit, call the Chamber office at 257-4323.
