Sunday, March 25th, 2018

Patti Hagata, Executive Director

The Chamber is pleased to welcome the following new members; Your H2O Pro, Sierra Desert Properties, H and R Block, All Season Heating and Air, and Sentimental Journey Event Venue. Please join us in welcoming them.  Chamber membership is tax deductible as a necessary business expense; if you are interested in becoming a member call the Chamber staff for more details and an application at 257-4323 or stop by the office located at 1516 Main Street, Susanville. The Chamber office is open Monday thru Friday, from 9am to 4pm.

The board is accepting applications to fill one unexpired board vacancy. Chamber members who are interested in serving on the board are encouraged to apply. Contact the Chamber staff at 257-4323 for more information or to have an application forwarded to you. Deadline to submit a board application is Monday, April 9, 2018.

The new digital sign has been installed in the front of the chamber office. This sign was made possible thanks to a generous grant provided by Diamond Mountain Casino and Hotel.  The digital sign can display full-color graphics and allows for advertising of your message, business, or events. Call the chamber staff at 257-4323 if you are interested in advertising and for more information and advertising rates.

The Annual Spring Home, Garden, and Outdoor Recreation Show will be held in a month; planned for Saturday, April 28, 2018, at the Lassen County Fairgrounds, from 10am to 3pm. A new category addition to this year’s show is wedding vendors. This event is always well attended and a great way to market your service or business at the one day show. Vendor booth space applications can be downloaded from our website www.lassencountychamber.org . If you need more information contact the Chamber office at 257-4323.

If we could have a moment of your time...

In the last 15 years SusanvilleStuff has become Lassen County's most influential media source with an average of 21,000 people visiting and reading stories about our little corner of the world each week.

SusanvilleStuff is our area's only locally owned news and information source and our commitment is to our friends and neighbors, with the goal of creating the best, all-around, most reliable content, while at the same time highlighting what makes Susanville and Lassen County so incredibly unique.

Why We Need Reader Support
Our independent, local coverage takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. While we make most of our money from advertising revenues, these days those can only go so far to support what we do. Every dollar our readers contribute goes towards making SusanvilleStuff a stronger voice in the community with better, more comprehensive content. We increasingly need the help of our readers to support us with either a voluntary subscription or a one-time contribution.

You don't have to subscribe to SusanvilleStuff, but we will be incredibly thankful if you do!
