Lassen County Chamber of Commerce Weekly Update

Sunday, February 25th, 2018

Patti Hagata, Executive Director

The Lassen County Cattlemen and Cattlewomen will host the annual “A Taste of Beef, A Sip of Wine” on Saturday, March 10, 2018, at the Susanville Elks Lodge, from 5:30 to 8:30 pm. The event is for those 21 years of age and over; Presale tickets are available at the Chamber office.  Proceeds from this event help to fund scholarships.

Chamber members should make sure that the Chamber’s visitor lobby has an adequate supply of your business cards and brochures on hand to promote your business throughout the year. This is a free marketing service that is available to all Chamber members. Many brochures and business cards are in need of restocking.

Mark your calendar for the next Chamber mixer that will be hosted by Eagle Lake Village on Thursday, March 22nd, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Mixers are a great opportunity to check out what local businesses have to offer in a relaxed setting. Everyone is welcomed to attend and we encourage you to bring a friend.

The Chamber plans to represent Lassen County by participating in the Reno RV, Boat, and Outdoor Recreation Show that will be held March 16, 17, and 18, 2018. The Chamber board has made both a financial and staffing commitment in order to showcase Lassen County. The show is a worthwhile event to help us accomplish outreach and marketing of Lassen County.

The Annual Spring Home, Garden, and Outdoor Recreation Show is being planned for Saturday, April 28, 2018, at the Lassen County Fairgrounds, from 10 am to 3 pm. A new addition to this year’s show is wedding vendors. This event is always well attended so it is worthwhile to showcase your service or business at the one day show; Vendor information and booth space applications can be downloaded from our website . If you need more information contact the Chamber office at 257-4323.

If we could have a moment of your time...

Why We Need Reader Support
Our independent, local coverage takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. While we make most of our money from advertising revenues, these days those can only go so far to support what we do. Every dollar our readers contribute goes towards making SusanvilleStuff a stronger voice in the community with better, more comprehensive content. We increasingly need the help of our readers to support us with either a voluntary subscription or a one-time contribution.

You don't have to subscribe to SusanvilleStuff, but we will be incredibly thankful if you do!
