The Annual Spring Home, Garden, and Outdoor Recreation Show is being planned for Saturday, April 28, 2018, at the Lassen County Fairgrounds, from 10 am to 3 pm. A new addition to this year’s show is wedding vendors. This event is always well attended so it is worthwhile to showcase your service or business at the one day show; Vendor information and booth space applications can be downloaded from our website www.lassencountychamber.org. Chamber members should make sure that the Chamber’s visitor lobby has an adequate supply of your business cards and brochures to promote your business throughout the year. This is a free marketing service that is available to all Chamber members. Many brochures and business cards are in need of restocking.
The Chamber plans to represent Lassen County by participating in the Reno RV, Boat, and Outdoor Recreation Show that will be held March 16, 17, and 18, 2018. The Chamber board has made both a financial and staffing commitment in order to showcase Lassen County at the show. The show is a very worthwhile event to help us accomplish outreach and marketing of Lassen County. Our commitment to the show is a big step in promoting Lassen County to future visitors and new businesses.
Lassen College scholarship benefit concert and dance featuring Louis Price is planned for February 15, 2018, from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm. The event will be held at the Lassen College gymnasium; doors will open at 6 pm. Tickets can be purchased at the Chamber office, College bookstore or at Margie’s Book Nook.
The Lassen County Cattlemen and Cattlewomen will host the annual “A Taste of Beef, A Sip of Wine” on Saturday, March 10, 2018, at the Susanville Elks Lodge from 5:30 to 8:30 pm. Presale tickets are available at the Chamber office.
