The seminar is co-hosted by Plumas Bank, SCORE, and the Lassen Chamber Tuesday, January 23, 2018, 5:30 pm to 7 pm, at Plumas Bank 3000 Riverside Drive, Susanville.
The free business seminar will be presented by SCORE and will cover the factors for success in starting a business, advantages and disadvantages of different business opportunities, what it takes to write a business plan, financial requirements for starting and running a business, sources for financing, developing a marketing plan, pricing and branding and so much more. Chamber members should make sure that the Chamber’s visitor lobby has an adequate supply of your business cards and brochures to promote your business throughout the year. This is a free marketing service that is available to all Chamber members. Many brochures and business cards are in need of restocking.
The Chamber has a very small quantity of 2018 Labor Law posters still available for sale which feature all required federal and state notices on one poster. Remember that to be in compliance California employers are required to post updated employment posters at each place of business. We have a limited quantity of posters so stop by the chamber office located at 1516 Main Street to purchase one for your business.
Mark your calendar to attend the first Chamber Mixer and welcome the New Year at the Thursday, February 1st mixer that will be hosted by Diamond Mountain Casino, Hotel, and Brewery, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm, in the Willow Room. No-host bar and appetizers will be served. You do not need to be a Chamber member to attend everyone is welcomed and we encourage you to bring a friend to mingle with friends and business associates.
