We had a very busy and successful 2017. We could not have done it without the support that we receive from the community and area businesses throughout the year- thank you! The Chamber extends wishes to all for a Happy and Prosperous New Year.
The Chamber board will kick off the year with the annual board training and planning meeting that will be held Thursday, January 9, 2018, from 9am to 1pm, at Diamond Mountain Casino in the hotel conference room. The planning meeting and board training is held annually to review the prior year and plan for the coming year.
The Chamber is in good hands under the leadership of Bill Payer President, Gary Felt Vice President, and Treasurer Mandy McGarva.
Chamber members should make sure that the Chamber’s visitor lobby has an adequate supply of your business cards and brochures to promote your business throughout the year. This is a free marketing service that is available to all Chamber members. Many brochures and business cards were depleted over the summer season and are in need of restocking.
The Chamber has the 2018 Labor Law posters which feature all required federal and state notices on one poster. California employers are required to post updated employment posters at each place of business. We have a limited quantity of posters available for sale. Stop by the Chamber office, located at 1516 Main Street, to purchase one for your business.
Mark your calendar for the first Chamber Mixer of the year that will be hosted by Diamond Mountain Casino, Hotel, and Brewery on Thursday, February 1, 2018, from 5:30 to 7:30pm, in the Willow Room. No-host bar and appetizers will be served. You do not need to be a chamber member to attend everyone is welcomed and we encourage you to bring a friend to mingle with friends and business associates.
