Historic Uptown Susanville Association will hold the Annual Safe n’ Sane Halloween on Tuesday, October 31st, from 3pm to 5pm, in Historic Uptown Susanville. This event will include trick-or-treating for children 12 and younger, costume contest, pet contest, and coffin races. The upper portion of Main Street will be closed to thru traffic for safe passage during the event. The annual Magical Country Christmas Celebration will be held Saturday, December 2nd, from 5-7pm, in Historic Uptown Susanville. The celebration will feature entertainment, Christmas Parade, Toys for Tots drive, and fireworks to ring in the Christmas season. Main Street will be closed to thru traffic during the celebration. This is a fun-filled event for the whole family. Christmas Parade and vendor entry forms are available at the Chamber office or by logging on to lassencountychamber.org.
Chamber dues notices will soon be sent out for the 2018 year. Your investment in the Chamber makes possible staffing of a year around visitors center, the many services and events that promote and support business, tourism, and relocation in Lassen County. Remember that Chamber membership is tax deductible as a ‘necessary business expense’.
As things are beginning to slow down a bit at the Chamber Visitor Center for the winter months, we are taking the time to go through brochures and information packets we offer to the public. We need updated business information at the Chamber Visitor Center to help promote your business throughout the year. Let us know what’s new at your business, bring us your business cards, brochures, or other promotional materials you would like made available to the public. This is a free marketing service that is available to all Chamber members.
The Chamber office, located at 1516 Main Street, Susanville is open, Monday thru Friday, 9am to 4pm. The Chamber staff is available to provide area information, maps, visitor guides, and business information.
