The Susanville Elks Lodge invites everyone to come enjoy Monday Night Football & Taco Night, each Monday. The no-host bar opens at 5:30pm, tacos are served beginning at 6pm. Bring the whole family for tacos and a fun evening of watching football on the big screen at the Susanville Elks Lodge.
Lassen Historical Society will present “Peter Lassen and his Danish Heritage” on October 28, 2017 at the Masonic Temple located at 84 North Lassen Street, Susanville, at 2pm. Guest speakers Dave Freeman, who is a Peter Lassen Researcher, and Ken Johnston, author, will share historical information about Peter Lassen. Following the presentation “Abelskivers”, a traditional Danish treat will be served by Job’s Daughters. For more information contact the Historical Society at 257-3292.
Historic Uptown Susanville Association will hold the Annual Safe n’ Sane Halloween on Tuesday, October 31st, from 3 to 5pm, in Historic Uptown Susanville. This event will include trick-or-treating for children 12 and younger, costume contest, pet contest, and coffin races. The Chamber office, located at 1516 Main Street, Susanville is open, Monday thru Friday, 9am to 4pm. The Chamber staff is available to provide area information, maps, visitor guides, and business information. Chamber members should be sure that the Chamber’s visitor lobby has an adequate supply of your business cards and brochures on hand to promote your business throughout the year. This is a free marketing service that is available to all Chamber members.
