Sierra Radio Network/Ksue/JDX and the Lassen County Farm Bureau will team up to co-host the Thursday, July 13, 2017, in Celebration of the radio station’s 40th Anniversary, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. The mixer will be held at 3015 Johnstonville Road, Susanville. (The street right in front of the radio station will be closed for the mixer and celebration). They invite everyone to stop by to enjoy live music, food, no-host bar & chance to win fun raffle prizes- -you do not need to be a Chamber member to attend; everyone is welcomed to stop by to mingle with friends and business associates. We hope to see you there.
The Chamber board will meet on Thursday, July 13th for the monthly board meeting, beginning at noon, at Diamond Mountain Casino in the Hotel Conference Room. The board encourages member attendance and comment; if you would like to address the board please contact the office staff prior to the board meeting so that you can be added to the agenda.
The 2017 Farmer’s Market season is in full swing, held each Saturday, thru the month of September, beginning at 8:00 am. The market is currently being held on North Gay Street in Historic Uptown Susanville until construction is completed on Pancera Plaza. Vendors can sign up to participate in the market by contacting market manager at [email protected]
The Lassen County Fair Parade will be held Saturday, July 23rd, beginning at 10:00cam. Show off your community pride at this year’s Lassen County Fair Parade by entering your club or business in the parade. Stop by the Chamber if you would like an entry form or call us at 257-4323 to have one forwarded to you. An entry form can also be downloaded at www.lassencountychamber.org. Before the parade don’t forget to attend the Annual Fair Parade Breakfast that will be served at the Susanville Masonic Hall, from 7:00 to 9:30 am, sponsored by the Friends of Lassen Janesville Lodge #149. The breakfast will include pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, coffee, juice, and milk.
