The Chamber board will meet on Thursday, April 13, 2017 for the monthly board meeting that will begin at noon, at Diamond Mountain Casino in the hotel conference room. The board encourages member attendance and comment; if you would like to address the board please contact the office staff prior to the board meeting so that you can be added to the agenda.
Executive Director, Patti Hagata, attended the Annual Tourism Summit that was hosted by the Shasta Cascade Wonderland Association last week in Anderson. The tourism summit presentations included the latest on marketing, a presentation by CalTravel on how the political issues facing Californian tourism may affect our area and a presentation by Visit California on how to prepare for international travelers.
The Annual Spring Home, Garden, and Outdoor Recreation Show is fast approaching. The event is planned for Saturday, April 29, 2017, at the Lassen County Fairgrounds, from 10am to 4pm. This event is always well attended so it is worthwhile to showcase your service or business; indoor and outdoor 10’x10’ booth spaces are available on a first-come-first-served basis.
