Lassen County Chamber of Commerce Weekly Update

Sunday, March 19th, 2017

Patti Hagata, Executive Director

Join us as Eagle Lake Village hosts this month’s Chamber Mixer on Thursday, March 23, 2017, from 5:30 to 7:30pm, at their business located at 2001 Bunyan Road, Susanville. You do not need to be a Chamber member to attend; everyone is welcomed to stop by to mingle with friends and business associates, enjoy live musical entertainment and a bite to eat.

Are you in compliance? The Chamber has a limited quantity of 2017 Labor Law posters which feature all required federal and state notices on one poster. California employers are required to post updated employment posters at each place of business or face up to a $17,000.00 fine.  Stop by the Chamber office, located at 75 North Weatherlow Street, to purchase one for your business; cost is $40 per poster.

Have you logged on to the chamber’s new website?  The new and improved site allows for anyone to submit event information to the calendar by going to http://lassencountychamber.org/events/calendar/ and clicking on the link “submit new event”.  This will allow you to enter your event information. (All events will await approval by the Chamber before appearing “live” on the calendar).

Also available on the new website are advertising banners. There are currently three options for enhancing your marketing presence on our new website; contact the office staff at 257-4323 for more information on introductory advertising rates.

For a complete list of events planned in Lassen County log on to www.lassencountychamber.org  and click on “events tap”. If your business or organization is planning a special event, be sure to log on to our website and post the information to the calendar. This is a free service provided to the entire community.

If we could have a moment of your time...

In the last 15 years SusanvilleStuff has become Lassen County's most influential media source with an average of 21,000 people visiting and reading stories about our little corner of the world each week.

SusanvilleStuff is our area's only locally owned news and information source and our commitment is to our friends and neighbors, with the goal of creating the best, all-around, most reliable content, while at the same time highlighting what makes Susanville and Lassen County so incredibly unique.

Why We Need Reader Support
Our independent, local coverage takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. While we make most of our money from advertising revenues, these days those can only go so far to support what we do. Every dollar our readers contribute goes towards making SusanvilleStuff a stronger voice in the community with better, more comprehensive content. We increasingly need the help of our readers to support us with either a voluntary subscription or a one-time contribution.

You don't have to subscribe to SusanvilleStuff, but we will be incredibly thankful if you do!
