The Chamber has 2017 Labor Law posters which feature all required federal and state notices on one poster. California employers are required to post updated employment posters at each place of business. There is a limited quantity of posters still available for sale. Stop by the Chamber office, located at 75 North Weatherlow Street, to purchase one for your business; cost is $40 per poster.
The Chamber is preparing for the annual Spring Home, Garden, and Recreation Show that will be held Saturday, April 29, 2017, at the Lassen County Fairgrounds, from 10am to 4pm. The one day event is always well attended and a worthwhile way to showcase your business. Applications are now available to reserve an indoor or outdoor, 10’x10’, booth space. The application is available at the chamber office or can be downloaded from our website www.lassencountychamber.org. For more information contact the Chamber office staff at 257-4323.
The Lassen Association of Realtors announced that they are offering three $500.00 Scholarships to graduating Lassen County seniors. You may pick up an application from the Lassen Association of Realtors Office, between 9am and 3pm, or any realtor. If you have any questions, please call Sue Cenotti at 257-5220.
The Annual “A Taste of Beef, A Sip of Wine” hosted by the Lassen County Cattlemen and Cattlewomen, will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2017, at the Susanville Elks Lodge, from 6pm to 9pm. Presale tickets are now on sale and can be purchased at the Chamber office, the Pardner Farm Supply, or from any member.
