Diamond Mountain Manufacturing

Position: Production Worker (5-10 Positions Available)

Location: Herlong, CA

Date of announcement: September 7, 2017

Closing Date: Open until filled

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am- 4:30pm

Wage: $13.00-$16.00/hr DOE


The production worker position performs all tasks involved on the production of the company’s products. The position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure
production is as efficient and safe as possible.


  • Feed raw materials into production machinery
  • Assemble goods on production lines
  • Monitor the production process
  • Store goods and raw materials properly in our warehouse
  • Use lifting equipment and forklift trucks in our warehouse
  • Pack goods to be shipped
  • Maintain work areas and equipment


While performing the duties of this job, the employees are frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.


The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The position involves sitting, walking and lifting up to SO pounds for long periods of time throughout the day.


  • High School Diploma
  • Basic math skills
  • Experience with inventory controls- process and equipment (bar-coding/handling devices)
  • Must be able to lift SO pounds on a consistent basis
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong organization and planning skills
  • Ability to resolve conflicts and maintain positive work environment
  • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Able to work on foot for extended periods of time
  • Reliable mode of transportation
  • Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes
  • Knowledge of Native American Communities, their organization structure, and basic understanding of Tribal laws and regulations

Preference will be given to Native Americans (42 CFR 36.221)
