Eva Frances Moran

Eva Frances Moran, 97, passed away on November 3, 2017, in Susanville.

Eva was born on July 1, 1920, in Russellville, Arkansas to John and Heather Campbell. She was the youngest and only girl of eleven children. She and her family moved to California in 1936 during the Dust Bowl and settled in Arvin. Eva married Alfred on May 28, 1938, and celebrated 67 years before Al’s passing. They moved to Susanville in 1973 and were very active in the Gospel Tabernacle Church.

Eva enjoyed quilting, crafting, painting, and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, her husband Al, two daughters, and two grandsons. Survivors include her oldest son Ed (Rita) of Colorado; son Curtis (Joan) of Susanville; son Randy (Brenda) of Susanville; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the Community Church of Susanville on November 9, 2017, with burial at Diamond Crest Cemetery.
