Forest Service: Next Guided Snowshoe Hike Planned for February 19th

Lassen National Forest’s Almanor Ranger District will offer its next guided snowshoe walk on Friday, February 19th at the Almanor Ranger Station on Route 36. Participants should meet at the Almanor Ranger District Office at 12:15 pm.

Attendees must be at least eight years old, and minors must be accompanied by an adult. Snowshoes are available free of charge, but cross-country skiers must provide their own equipment.

This is the fourth guided outing of the season organized by the Almanor Ranger District. Another walk is scheduled for March 4th. All programs require reservations.
