Part of Melton Design Group’s preliminary plan for the Cameron Neighborhood Park.

The City of Susanville is seeking community input on the design of a proposed neighborhood park on Cameron Way in the northern part of Susanville.

The park is planned on city-owned property on the north side of Cameron Way behind the current location of the mailboxes. The park backs up to existing trailheads and currently includes an open layout with picnic tables, barbecues and natural play features that will complement the surroundings.

The city would love to get neighborhood residents to contribute ideas to improve the design, and will be holding a workshop at 5:30p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 6th at City Council Chambers on North Lassen Street to gather input.
