City of Susanville Looking for Volunteers and Public Input

With community support, the City of Susanville is developing many ideas and projects to improve the quality of life for our residents and visitors.

Priorities include community partnerships, community vitality, increasing safety and ensuring our citizens ideas are heard. The City will be hosting a series of community workshops for you to share your vision!

Some projects will take years to become a reality and the city is looking for community input as to how to begin.

Community Input Meetings will be held at City Hall, 66 North Lassen Street on the following days:

  • 3:00 to 5:00p.m. Wednesday, May 30th
  • 4:00 to 6:00p.m. Thursday, June 14th
  • 10:00 to 12:00p.m. Monday, June 25th
  • 4:00 to 6:00p.m. Tuesday, July 10th
  • 1:00 to 3:00p.m. Wednesday, July 25th
  • 7:00p.m. Wednesday, August 1st

Potential projects include sidewalks, bike paths, recreation, trails, safety and other Public Works infrastructure, along with community services and community enhancement programs and training.

The City of Susanville is working to create a vibrant community by offering opportunities for residents to participate by volunteering.

Activities include grant research, landscaping, parks and facility maintenance, litter collection, graffiti removal, graphic design, volunteer coordination, data collection, community outreach
and walking groups.
