The Lassen County Chamber of Commerce, with the help of some hard working volunteers, began the complicated and time-consuming task of building a community Christmas tree this week. The 30-foot tree, which will be placed on Main Street at the top of town, is the center-piece for the Chamber’s annual Magical Country Christmas event coming up on December 6th.
The tree will be lit to coincide with Santa’s grand entrance during the celebration which also will include street vendors, live entertainment and fireworks.
