A late evening accident on North Street in Susanville did major damage to a utility pole and telephone company equipment; our correspondent Jim Chapman sent us these photos of the aftermath. Emergency personnel arrived on-scene to find the pole sheered off and telephone and cable television lines down or hanging low in the street.
