sheriffupdate4The Lassen County Sheriff’s Office is working to identify the remains of a woman whose body was discovered at the Susanville Sanitary District sewage treatment plant, east of the county fairgrounds, Tuesday afternoon.

According to Sheriff Dean Growdon, deputies secured the area around the facility after confirming that it was a deceased person.
